It was the brilliant discovery that the Earth reveals its history through rock layers that gives us evolutionary science. William Smith, an English surveyor, is credited with the discovery that certain fossils appeared only in distinct layers of earth.
So, it is fitting that London’s Natural History Museum architecture pays homage to the science that shows us how we came to be.
