Christmas Lights in the ‘hood

The snow has melted and we are in day 2 of steady rain. Tomorrow, rain and snow mix is predicted. Then, we are back to below freezing temperatures. Unfortunately, no snow accumulation is expected for Christmas. Bah, humbug!

The gardens are dreary, and I suppose that is why Christmas lights began as a tradition. They are so cheery at this time of year. I decided my six this week a gallery of lights! Unfortunately, I haven’t developed my nighttime photography skills, so please tolerate some blurriness.

Visit The Propagator for more gardens around the world!

From the front porch, a multicolored display of lights.
The Christmas lights display includes blue floodlights for the “Frozen” effect!
I included this scene last week, but managed a much clearer shot here. You can see neighborhood lights in the background.

The blue floodlights on the maple trees evoke wintry memories.

The neighbor’s traditional red and green floodlights look great on their Tudor style home.

I hope that you have enjoyed this little lights tour!
