Summer Weather in Fall

We have had a week of 80° temperatures and no rain. Next week’s forecast is identical. Needless to say, everything is suffering. I am filling the birdbath three times a day at this point. The plants and animals are having a rough time.

Some plants are managing to bloom and offer their nectar up to the bees.

Here is the blog that cleverly created “Six on Saturday.”

  1. That’s right, and I do find an hour spent in the garden usually puts me right in body and in spirit, so that keeps me out of trouble in other ways.

  2. Lovely garden, Pam… hope you get some rain soon. We haven’t rained since Hurricane Irma left us 10-15 inches two weeks ago. Go figure.

  3. A lovely 6 on Saturday, love the tabacco plant, sadly can’t grow them as well in my garden, but love the size and scent from them ?
