Autumn Trees or Leaves

Here’s my entry for the photo challenge, “Trees or Leaves.”  I took this picture of autumn leaves in October, just before a rainstorm moved in and knocked all of the leaves to the ground.

This is a red maple, and it tends to turn color much later than other deciduous trees in our yard.
